Yorkshire game, local poultry and wild birds. This longer course is focused on the techniques necessary to really get the most out of our feathered friends. Great homely dishes cooked to perfection and teaching you how to use the whole bird to make the best meals possible.

You will learn some more advanced preparation techniques and see how the experts do it. 

Course Outline

On this full Feather cooking day, we will explore a range of birds for you to prepare and cook giving you the confidence to prepare similar meals at home and broaden your range of recipes. 

You will cook 5 dishes which will give you new ideas and recipes for cooking at home, together with tips for presentation, preparation and storage. Our head tutor will also provide a fun demonstration of core techniques. 

The dishes themselves will depend on what's seasonally available

The course involves a mixture of demonstration and hands-on cookery and is led by our experienced chef tutors who can answer all of your cooking questions.

You will learn knife skills and techniques which will save time and improve your kitchen skills and cook a variety of delicious, quick dishes. Dishes and ingredients will vary depending on what is in season.

You will receive a recipe file at the end of the day so that you can recreate the dishes at home
