Some of the finest Yorkshire rare breed cattle, pigs and sheep come from within miles of Malton. This is a meat course to celebrate those amazing animals. From butchery and preparation to complete dishes, the Fur course is a meat lovers dream!
Ever wanted to really impress at your own dinner party but don't know where to start? The Fur course will give you the confidence to use local produce and follow these delicious recipes
On this shorter Fur cooking day we will make dishes which take around thirty minutes to prepare and cook, saving you time and effort in the kitchen.
You will cook 3 dishes which will give you new ideas and recipes for cooking at home, together with tips for presentation, preparation and storage. Our head tutor will also provide a fun demonstration of core techniques.
The dishes themselves will depend on what's seasonally available
The course involves a mixture of demonstration and hands on cookery and is led by our experienced chef tutors who can answer all of your cooking questions.
You will learn knife skills and techniques which will save time and improve your kitchen skills and cook a variety of delicious, quick dishes. Dishes and ingredients will vary depending on what is in season.
You will receive a recipe file at the end of the day so that you can recreate the dishes at home
